This evergreen native of the Santa Clara foothills forms a clump 2 to 3 feet high, 4 foot spread, it can be sheared for a more formal look. Needle like foliage is dark green on top, white underneath, pinkish white flower clusters in summer. Excellent for erosion control, on dry hillsides. Needs good drainage, low or no water.
