Western Spiraea

An open, colorful shrub that grows 4 to 6 feet. Winter deciduous followed by pale green leaves and dense clusters of pink-purple single rose flowers over a long period. Likes light shade with moderate water, good for naturalizing along a woodland border. Root suckers. Native to the North Coast of California.
