Rising from the ground in late winter these amply leafed stalks 12 inches tall will be topped by fluffy, star shaped creamy white flowers March thru May. Dormant by the end of summer. Part to heavy shade, needs water in the spring. Spreading but not invasive, a good addition to a natural woodland garden. Bay Area Native
