Salvia apiana White Sage A dense shrub with large, handsome, strongly scented leaves that mound to 3 feet, used in ceremonies. Tall flower spikes 6 feet with a long succession of small white flowers, attracts bees. Likes it hot and dry, good on dry slopes. May not be hardy below 22° F.
