Oemleria cerasiformis Oso Berry This deciduous shrub grows 4 to 10 feet tall, slowly spreading as a thicket in wet areas. It becomes a pleasing, modest shrub or small tree in drier situations. One of the first in spring to flower with small white, almond scented racemes. Good in a woodland, riparian or hedgerow planting. Bay Area Native
