Monardella odoratissima Mountain Pennyroyal Forming a mounding perennial 1 to 2 feet tall bearing very fragrant, fuzzy gray green leaves. Flowers that attract bees and butterflies are pale purple and bloom summer into fall. Full sun and drought tolerant, good under oaks and on hot dry slopes, needs good drainage. Native to sagebrush scrub country. |
