A densely foliaged, deciduous shrub from the honeysuckle family growing to 6 feet, spreading to 10 feet. Rich yellow orange flowers in pairs on the ends of the twigs are followed by large purple black berries. A good wildlife plant. Generally found in moist, shady places, near the coast it is also found in full sun. Bay Area Native
