Juncus Carmen's Japanese Carmenšs Japanese Rush This clumping grass has dark green foliage and showy seed heads. The leaves grow 18 to 24 inches long with flowers in early summer. Useful in and around ponds, it will grow in shallow water, light to medium shade. Flowers and seed heads can be used fresh or dried and the leaves are used for making mats and baskets.
