Fast growing evergreen shrub to 15 feet tall, 20 foot spread with large lemon yellow flowers spring into summer. Full sun, needs good drainage and no water once established. A good informal hedge, on dry, rocky hillsides, near native oaks. Do not plant near a path as the fuzz on the stems can be itchy.
