Also known as Naked Buckwheat it grows 8 inches round with gray green leaves. 2 foot stalks bear small clusters of lemon yellow flowers. Full sun or light shade, quite drought tolerant, likes rocky soils. Found near the Eel River it's a nice northern addition to the Buckwheat family. Bay Area native
