Ceanothus thyrsiflorus Skylark Wild Lilac This lush green, compact ceanothus grows slowly 3 to 6 feet tall with a 5 foot spread. Dark blue fragrant flower spikes bloom over a long period in spring, again in fall. Full sun, drought tolerant but can handle some water and clay soils. Looks good year round. Native to Mendocino.
