Asphodeline lutea King's Spear This clumping perennial from the Western Mediterranean and Turkey grows about 9 inches tall, 1 foot wide. Stiff stems rise 3 to 5 feet with narrow clusters of fragrant, 1 inch bright yellow flowers late spring, summer. Good on dry banks, sunny borders. Average to low water, sun to part shade. |
