Arctostaphylos densiflora Howard McMinn Mounding, evergreen shrub 4 to 5 feet tall, 6 to 7 foot spread. Pinkish white bell shaped flowers late winter. Twisted, reddish brown trunk becomes increasingly attractive with age. Sun or part shade, likes good drainage, very drought tolerant. This selection is more tolerant of garden conditions than most.
